I love that stuff, Doc. Catching the timer and keyboard interrupts, redirecting the vectors, managing the InDOS flag (because DOS was non-reentrant), all the fun and games.

Thanks Mark for the insight. I, live in a info hub surrounded by 64 biter’s. When I run into a thread or repeat quad-Dword I go the my stack and carry flags. I was suprised that along the way some company that shall not be named had left a nibble of a TSR in the registry. A quik routine to clean unused TSR’s solved the recurstion problem. I hope I have the good luck to hear from you and the other’s. Some of us from the Train Station are still hiding out as elderly hobbiests, that surprise our grandchildern with odd questions like, “Can you split you RAM?”. only to be looked at with wonderment. I don’t understand much of what you are explaining, but I read it and think I’m all the potentially smarter for doing so.
